Turtle eggs hatched.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis we are very busy with organising food packages for those who need them. This does not mean we are forgetting our other work. Last 16 March we saved a turtle nest that would have been washed away by the waves if we did not relocate the eggs. We found 105 eggs in total. 37 days after the relocation four eggs have hatched. Welcome to the world, little Green Turtles! This is odd, as the normal hatching time is around 60 days. The others eggs are still in the sand, waiting to hatch, but we must keep our hopes not too high.. Please see the video below to see one of the baby Green Turtles walk to his/her new life..
