Today we responded on a report of stranded dead turtles in Kedongonan, trough the Instagram account of @adrian.suwanto . After contact with Bpk Permana Yudiarso of BPSPL Denpasar we did a survey to Kedonganan beach and found out that over the last 2 days 4 big turtles have stranded, all dead. The turtles were burried already, which made that we cannot do a necropsy anymore to see the cause of death. Kedonganan is fighting a big fight against washing up plastic. Puk Suke of KLHK had photgraphed the turtles before stranding and kindly shared these photos with us. We are ready to help in any future stranding of turtles.
