9 months into the crisis we see more and more people changing the way they earn there income. We see tattoo artists selling food on the street, drivers picking up growing rice and vegetables, and so on and so forth. The people in Nusa Lembongan are heavily dependent on tourism, since tourism has been booming over the last decades. Before tourism peoples main income was growing seaweed, and now many people have resorted back to growing seaweed and receive many orders! Unfortunately the story is covered in many international media as THE solution for all Balinese, which is impossible. But we see resilience in the Balinese society and a decline of need for help. Bali is strong! With our Lembongan hand out we passed the 100.000 meals given mark.
